Prémios do ano - 2008

Yes, it's time again. For another edition of my blog's awards of the year! And this time... in English! Why? So just that other friends beyond my Portuguese group of friends may vote. I will try to MAKE people vote, so I guess it will be easier to get more votes if I expand the base of potential voters.
So how does this work? I nominate 5 "candidates" in each of the voting categories. These obviously reflect my tastes. In any case, you also may put a write in "candidate". But if you do not want to think, just vote in one of the ones I put there. You can also suggest a new category. We've had that before as well. You can also vote for any number of categories you like. Maybe you just care about music or cinema and don't have a clue about Portuguese football or comic books). Feel free to vote in any number of categories you want and ignore the others. The votes are done in the comments section.
At some point in mid-January, I will count the votes each nominee has and obviously the one who gets more wins. My vote serves as a tie-breaker, but it is very likely that my favorites do not win at the end.
